Moving Right Along

Well it has been awhile since I last blogged so I thought to write with a quick update. My Queen has been doing better. After all the environmental allergy testing was done it did take a week or so for her to make a full recovery. Her poor little body's system was definitely over run and oh boy did she fight it hard. The nasal spray given to us has definitely helped. Now going onto month 2 , she is noticeably having a good reaction to this. I am so glad it is preservative FREE and that its made fresh monthly. I HATE pharmaceuticals and REFUSE to use any when its not a necessary. This has been a blessing as she seams more focused and clear headed , happier and even more Bina is shining through.
But also I do have to say , another contributing factor to her success has been her staying on her diet. Sabrina has learned more about what her food allergies are and about what foods she is allowed to and NOT allowed to have. Previously her visits with her dad , for whatever the reason , we were not on the same page in regards to her food and diet. Now, going onto month 2 also, her visits have been better in regards to complying with the food and staying on diet. This has been a BIG noticeable factor as well. Not only do I, our family and friends have noticed but also her school teachers and therapists, as well as out side therapists and doctors have noticed. The behaviors she was previously showing have gone away, her irritability her distractions all the negativity that has been previously appearing ... gone away. Thank god!
The importance of being on the same page has been paying off, I am very happy to say. And the addition of the support and help for her  environmental allergies she deals with daily has been making it a much much better scenario for the Queen. It has helped her all around in which makes her a healthier and happier child. Thus making me a happier mother warrior. After all...its ALL about the child...

Next up on the agenda was more testing. Surprise!?! Lol NOT!
We decided to put the re-visit to the food allergy testing on hold as we felt making sure everything else was being done to help support this child's body in the best most optimal way we can. Since we already had a heads up with previous blood work, and the removal of those foods showed great improvement already...that was not priority.
Hitting up other areas were.
I had sent over all the tests I have ever had done on Sabrina to our new doctor to review and go over. We sat down and he went through them with me. Yes they showed her to have auto immune issues, gastro issues and mitochondria issues as well. Basically since they were from 2011 and before I implemented anything, it was best to re-due alot of them, and then add some that were never done the first round. So last Friday we went to the lab, had brought the urine samples and had the blood drawn. It takes a few weeks for the results and I will be seeing the doc to learn what those are mid April. A few more weeks, more answers...
I am anxious and excited for that. The more answers we get,
the more we know if we are on the right track.
Will see if we need to switch the direction, then what direction to go if we need to try a new one..or if its simply to just switch roads ...
It means more HOPE that there is even more we can do...
At least I will KNOW more.. and for that I am a happy anxious to find out.

I will be filling you all in...once the results are in!
As I always say...
Its NOT the Speed...but the Direction that Matters!
God bless! ~ Heather
